Elizabeth Roskam is an award winning artist who received her BFA from the University of Michigan. She has done extensive work in interior design, graphic design and pen and ink drawings. Today she continues to pursue her creative passion in interior design and oil painting.
Elizabeth is often asked what inspires her to paint. Her answer is: "Beauty in color, perspective, light and proportion. And nothing is more beautiful than the work of God. The Psalmist must have been thinking of a sunset when he wrote: 'The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.'" (Psalm 19:1)
Elizabeth Roskam has served on the Board of Trustees for Ford's Theatre, Jonahre Foundation and the FMCSAC Board.
Elizabeth and her husband Peter live in Chicagoland. They have four adult children.
Elizabeth Roskam's work has been featured in the Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, The Hill, The Daily Herald, Roll Call, Politico Playbook, NBC Chicago, and by the US Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, the Congressional Institute, the Former Members Association, AFLAC, UPS and the Women's Democracy Network (WDN).
