About the artist

Elizabeth Roskam is an award winning artist who received her BFA from the University of Michigan. She has worked extensively in interior design, graphic design and pen and ink drawings.  Today she pursues her creative passion in oil painting.

Elizabeth is often asked what inspires her to paint. Her answer: "Beauty in color, perspective, light and proportion. And nothing is more beautiful than the work of God. The psalmist must have envisioned a sunset when he wrote: 'The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.'" (Psalm 19:1)

Elizabeth has served on the Board of Trustees for Ford's Theatre in Washington, DC and currently serves on the Jonahre Foundation Board. She and her husband Peter live in Chicagoland. They have four adult children, two sons-in-law and an adorable grandson.

I told my husband in passing I wanted to skydive.
I didn’t think he was listening!
